This hotel was amazing for our honeymoon night our aunt had got me and my wife the love package for our honeymoon night it was amazing a deluxe room with a view over the dirt was beutiful the when we entered the room we found a fresh charcuterie board and a bottle of Champagne to celebrate our union omni made are special night amazing the valet service was amazing as well plus to very reasonable pricing the breakfast there was amazing and the amenities where great highly recommended for special occasion or for short stay in Richmond if you are looking for something nice and reasonable price Now some of the cons I noticed which wasn’t whole lot when we checked into the room they only had one bathrobe instead of two which I’m sure could of been easily taken care of and the soap wasnt that big and kinda dried up and half empty bottles but it was fair though cause it is hotel soap but the soap was pretty good still though Overall, the day was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. There ain’t too many negative things in which I could find. I can’t say that I’m super experienced with expensive hotels. I still got a lot to go. I understand it was a reasonable price for what we paid and we got the services of which we paid for for three or $400. It was not a bad deal. I would definitely recommend anybody to give it a try if you’re looking for something nice in the local area and they want to check out some nice restaurants as well. I also recommended tobacco company or the Omni restaurant downstairs

Everytime I come here the service has always been so great! The front desk assistant Vianey has been so welcoming and attentive. When our lamp was acting funny, she had maintenance take care of jt right away and left a nice note as well! The team here seems to go above and beyond! Keep up the great work!

Great staff provided me with a wonderful experience. I might classify as 3-star, instead of a 4-star hotel. The plumbing is old, and the large windows (which I did love) provided a draft, but I was able to turn up the thermostat so that I was comfortable. Watch out for the hot water, which is scalding (and I neglected to report). Breakfast was pricey ($40 with the tip), but I did order a lot, and the wait person was friendly and professional. The hotel is adjoined with a business center which was immaculate and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Great location near the capitol, and right across from The Tobacco Company restaurant, which served Thanksgiving dinner without a reservation. My room's housekeeper made sure that I had everything I needed, even when I posted the sign opting out of room service (this donates a meal to a local organization). There is a Starbucks right inside the hotel, which apparently is the only downtown Richmond location. The shuttle driver, Aaron, made sure that I found the location for my bus departure, and the check-in rep., Acenetha (?) checked me into my room three hours early. You do have to pay for internet. Lunch was hard to come by on the Friday after Thanksgiving, with most nearby establishments closed. This hotel is close to all of the tourist spots and the free Greater Richmond Transport (GRT) bus service.

A Great Stay with Minor Hiccups I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Omni Richmond Hotel and, overall, found it to be a very pleasant experience. The room's accommodations were largely excellent. I particularly enjoyed the well-thought-out room layout and the fantastic 11th-floor view which offered a great perspective of the city. The hotel's location is also a major plus, making it easy to access local attractions. Regarding the bathroom, while I would have personally preferred a walk-in shower, the provided shower was quite satisfactory. The rain-fall shower head combined with powerful water pressure made for a very refreshing experience. My only notable issue was a technical one: the room phone was non-functional during my stay. This was a bit inconvenient, as I had to rely on my personal cell phone to contact the front desk on the couple of occasions I needed assistance. Despite the phone issue, the comfortable room, great view, and excellent location certainly made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would certainly consider staying at the Omni Richmond Hotel again.

Our family visited Richmond and wanted a hotel with a pool in a central location. This for the bill as it was clean and convenient. We loved the pool, and the water was warm, for December that was perfect. We did not like the parking situation - it is $40 to park at the hotel..there are parking lots nearby but they don't all have typically in and out privileges (which means you have to pay $20 ticket every time you enter). I ended up finding an affordable parking but had to walk 4 blocks and the Downtown area is pretty deserted at night - we never saw people walking at all. So if we stay again, I would either pay for parking at the hotel or use the street parking at Shockoe slip neighborhood (which is free after 6pm). Also, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast option at the hotel. Breakfast is served at the "patio" of the restaurant which is essential the entry hall to an office building. So it was expensive and cold ( the waitress said people are complaining that it so cold even during the summer). They are plenty of good breakfast options around the hotel, and also a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Loved the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby! Also, do not get the river side, get city side room (river side is looking over multiple highways) Overall have a good experience, but next time we plan to stay at Scott's addition area where the parking is cheaper at the hotels and there are plenty of dinning options to walk to.

Staying at the Omni Richmond was a highlight. The lobby is stunning — full of natural light, greenery, and that elegant black-and-white checkered floor. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the whole atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming. The rooms are beautifully maintained and stocked with quality Nest shampoo, body wash, and lotion — such a nice touch that really adds to the luxury feel.

We were only there for an overnight, but other than one major issue everything was absolutely perfect. Their great location puts you in walking distance to the best of Shockoe Slip, with valet parking so no city parking worries. The room was lovely, the restaurant great and the staff was fabulous everywhere. Unfortunately next morning we discovered little to no water pressure, and the shower wasn't usable. We had to leave early, so we packed up and discussed this with the desk. They couldn't have been nicer or more professional, and offered to send an engineer or move us which wasn't an option. We will definitely give the hotel another try on our next visit.

Made reservations on line.. smooth. Arrived and was greated by the front desk. Given room 417 with a decent view Upon entering the room. Looked at the room. Found a long piece of hair on the toilet. Coffee maker - when making hot water for the tea.... coffee grains where in the cup of plan hot water For the most part the room was clean and cold. Restaurant: placed order for a cheese burger and fries. First waitress took my order. Second waitress brought cold order fries. First actress took my fries back in brought me some hot one out.
